This July sees the return of Italian beer brand, Birra Moretti’s Gran Tour. Going off the success of its premier last year, Moretti Gran Tour will kick off the summer in style in Edinburgh, Leeds, and London.
The travelling pop-up food and drinks festival will feature authentic regional Italian cuisine from Arancina, Paste E Basta, Cooking Cooks, The Arencini Bros, Gelupo, and 12 tantalising new vendors, alongside live music and – of course – ice cold Birra Moretti.
Birra Moretti’s Italian ancestry and brewing history, along with its balanced flavor makes it the perfect accompaniment to Italian food. The crisp finish and light maltiness sets it apart as an ideal summer brew.
Event maître d’ and well-known TV chef, Joe Hurd, states that the “Moretti Gran Tour blends all the important aspects of Italian culinary culture, from great ingredients to regional delicacies, alongside the popular street food movement.
Advanced tickets are priced at £10 plus a £1 booking fee. This includes two Birra Moretti, two dishes from any vendor on-site and a gelato. As well as being well and truly indulged on the night, the introduction of chef-run master classes means that you can perfect your cooking skills under the tutorage of the best in the business.
David Lette, Birra Moretti Brand Director says: “Enjoying great beer and food with friends is an important part of both Italian and British cultures, so together with our street food partners we are looking forward to creating an event that is not to be missed” and, by the sounds of it, they are definitely set to succeed.
