It was a definitely a night of celebration for British fashion at last night’s British Fashion Awards, for one designer in particular. J.W. Anderson scooped both the menswear and womenswear designer of the year awards, marking a stand out year for the Northern Irish designer, who also helms Spanish label, Loewe. Held at the London Coliseum and voted for by over 800 members of the global fashion industry, other London-based winners included Erdem, Thomas Tait and Tom Ford. Karl Lagerfeld was presented with an award of outstanding achievement by US Vogue editor, Anna Wintour. The show was stolen, however, by Ab Fab stars Eddie and Patsy who presented Stella McCartney with her award for brand of the year.

David and Victoria Beckham lit up the red carpet, as did Nick Grimshaw who arrived arm in arm with Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, and Mollie King whose dress did its best to distract everyone’s attention from David Gandy’s face. Olivier Rousteing, Karlie Kloss, Kate Moss, Tinie Tempah, Christopher Bailey – whose Burberry was also a winner – and Lucky Blue Smith were just some of the other famous faces in attendance.
