Celebrating the release of Candid Magazine’s 12th issue – The Fashion Issue – and the launch of the AW16 Grooming Room, a rooftop party at Century Club ushered in the eighth season of London Collections: Men.

Actor and Candid cover star, Jeffrey Postlethwaite, was in attendance along with singer, Elyar Fox; artist, Philip Colbert and DJ, Roman Kemp – all of who are featured in the new issue. Singers, Jake Sims and Chloe Paige, and the fashion and style presenter of Fashion One Television and E!, Stefanie Jones, were also in attendance, along with the Candid editorial team and cover photographer, Emma Woolrych.

Hoxton Radio’s founder, David ‘The Preshaah’ Harris slammed on the tunes while guests enjoyed whiskey cocktails from Chivas and a range of libations courtesy of Century Club.

Taking place on the second floor of Century Club over London Collections: Men, The Grooming Room offered press, buyers, celebrities and VIPs a secluded hub to relax and unwind in between shows. Complimentary treatments (collagen masks, manicures, hair styling, beard trimming and mini makeovers), Wi-Fi, a sweets buffet and menswear brands were on offer and Hoxton Radio was live-broadcasting from the Toshiba space.

VIP guests – Elyar Fox, Jeffrey Postlethwaite, Oliver Proudlock, Maurice Mullen, and many more editors, emerging actors and musicians – were treated to goodie bags everything the modern man could want: designer socks by Mr. D; Gold Collagen for any fine lines; Dermalogica premium skincare; Lock, Stock & Barrel hair-grooming products; luxury shirts from A’legions; premium gift boxes from The Gents Pack and an issue of the new Candid Magazine.

Guests were also able to relax with treatments and facials while browsing brands, having a drink and eating some pasta. A’legions was showing its new shirt range; Mazinyi were talking guests through their street-to-slope outerwear; Toshiba flat-screens live-streamed shows throughout the day; Drakes of London gave wet shaves and beard grooming to any rough-looking souls; AOFM Pro (backstage groomers at key LCM shows) did mini makeovers; Vidal Sassoon were styling locks and doing barnet-cuts; MiN New York presented their new line of ultra-premium scents in the fragrance bar; Carol Joy plumped eyes with collagen masks; GODO served freshly made pasta; Elegant Touch were on manicures; and Sugar Tables provided a smorgasbord of LCM sweets for guests to gorge on.
