As part of London Collections Men, Stephen Jones OBE, cover star of Candid Magazine’s thirteenth issue – The Design Issue – hosted the official launch party at Century Club in Soho last week, wearing the identical Christopher Kane suit that he wears on the cover of the new issue (shot by Darren Black). Guests were welcomed with a Stephen Jones-designed drink: Purple Veil (made with Shine London Blackberry moonshine) while enjoying canapés, and music from Hoxton Radio. Guests included Hilary Alexander, Pam Hogg, Daisy de Villenueve, Philip Sallon, Naomi Isted, Vikings’ Clive Standen and nearly all of the Candid Magazine magazine team including Editor-in-Chief, Courtney Blackman and Creative Director, Rebekah Roy. The new issue is available worldwide in top-tier bookstores, newsagents and specialty stores and it can also be purchased via our e-store here.

The issue boasts a multi-page fashion photo shoot (at Claridge’s) with Jones, a story on the world’s top design-influenced cities, an interview with one of Brooklyn’s hottest young furniture designers, an edit of the top handcrafted timepieces from Roger Dubuis to Richard Mille and an interview with Ferragamo and the story of how an Italian fashion house has stamped its designer mark on luxury, high-performance yachting.

We have exclusives with Canada’s most famous design duo export Dan and Dean Caten from DSquared2, Joshua Kane from his namesake label, as well as an exclusive interview and fashion shoot with Hollywood hero, Dylan Sprayberry. Fashion editorials come from far and wide featuring shoots and fashion from London, Los Angeles and Dubai.

The Candid Magazine launch party took place on Century Club’s Roof Terrace (the largest roof terrace in Soho) and it also launched The Grooming Room for the spring/summer 2017 menswear season.
