Clarks Launch Mens Pop Up

Strong sales have led to footwear giant Clarks opening a men’s standalone pop-up store in the heart of Covent Garden, Seven Dials at 55 Neal Street.

The 443 sq ft store, set to open its doors for a limited period of three weeks on October 23rd, is set to showcase an edited variety of their autumn 14 collection. The Somerset brand was founded in 1825 and over time has acquired 1,000 stores and franchises globally, with sales reaching £1.54 billion for the year to January 2014.  The pop-up will be the first opportunity for consumers to indulge in a Clarks men’s standalone.

As we continue to invest in elevating the menswear brand and showcasing our style credentials, the opening of this standalone pop up is an important move for us as a brand in the UK & ROI. The new store will allow us to showcase our undeniable heritage, craftsmanship and stand-out menswear collection.”

The collection boasts an array of formal and casual styles, re-working their classic designs with a contemporary edge yet still upholding their strong dedication and ethic for attention to detail and quality. The casual shoes embedded with stand-out Sawtooth and Sharktooth soles is an effortless attempt in modernising, as well as being the top footwear trend for this year. Shades of brown and burgundy are aplenty for Clarks casual pieces. Blue shades are also apparent throughout, with navys and bright blues complimented with white soles and transpired on traditional brogues and Freelan-Hi boots.

Forever making an appearance is the assortment of business-style footwear that can easily be teamed with suits, casual jeans and chinos. Monk Straps, Chelsea Boots and Brogues are created with their trademark traditional British style along with comforting shoe technology. Their sport selection was inspired by their Clarks Sport Archive, incorporating rich materials with a seasonal colour palette of browns, dark blues and burgundy shades. Classic sneakers, high-tops and vintage designs show their diversity and attention to the consumer trend, creating lasting and wearable sport shoes.

Boots are essential for this season and Clarks have developed a range including Biker and Utility boots. Strong profile soles are ready to take on the slippery ice, with warm-lined and waterproof boots aiming to provide that much needed comfort for the winter season.
