Cottweiler Spring/Summer 2016
June 12, 2015
Ben Cottler and Matthew Dainty, also known as Cottweiler, showcased their spring/summer 2016 collection on the first day of London Collections: Men. The pair have been known not only for their work in the clothing industry but also the contemporary arts, installations and films, which was evident in the theatrical presentation.
When it comes to their Cottweiler brand, they work with an absolute precision combined with a futuristic, minimalistic style. Previous collections have featured luxury sportswear pieces created from highly technical fabrics, using the likes of lurex and Teflon coated nylon, each design highly functional and created to satisfy the needs of the man of the future.
This season’s presentation included clean looks using shiny metallic elements and shades of white and ivory. The signature wrap jackets have now been cleverly combined with zips to give added performance. Cottweiler’s man SS16 season is a real apocalyptic survivor with an excellent taste.
