David Beckham launches men’s grooming range: House 99

Tyler Kenny reports from David Beckham’s House 99 launch at Harvey Nichols.
Candid Magazine was out in full force for the launch of House 99. The line is the latest venture from David Beckham, in partnership with L’Oreal Luxe, which aims to allow men to reach their personal style ambitions in the ever-changing men’s grooming landscape. Available exclusively through Harvey Nichols, the hair and skincare lines have something innovative for every man. The new range includes sure-to-be fan favourites like a Hair & Beard Balm and tattoo moisturizer, which is already famous amongst Beckham’s cult following.
The House 99 launch event brought out some of London’s best-groomed gents. Amongst a group of diverse models and influencers, notable attendees included Bluey Robinson, Eric Underwood, Craig McGinlay, Diego Barrueco, Darren Kennedy (who featured in Candid’s twelfth issue), James Stewart (read his Candid Magazine interview here), Alexander James 2nd (who featured in Candid’s eleventh issue), Stephen James Hendry, Maja Malnar, and Suzy Menkes.
Also in attendance during the evening, were barbers offering expert advice on new statement-making looks and a bespoke whisky cocktail menu created by Haig Club paired with sumptuous canapés.
The lower-level event space and store windows of Harvey Nichols were transformed to create a modern grooming parlour, which evoked both David’s personal style and London barbershop culture.
The global House 99 grooming range, which includes twenty-one products, is available exclusively via Harvey Nichols online and in-store.
