The world of fashion is an intense and glamourous industry that is constantly changing and evolving at a fast pace, so it is not uncommon that new talent is always being uncovered. With this in mind, enter Lulu Liu and her fantastically creative collection that has sparked interest around the world.
Lulu Liu is an inspirational asset to the fashion industry, who decided to move to London after spending a proportionate amount of time in Japan, studying at the London College of Fashion where her desirable clothing was displayed at the V&A Museum and was showcased at the British Royal Ballet. Further to this her graduate collection was sponsored by the infamous SAGA Fur and was chosen and entered into the Fashion Map Awards final category ‘Fashion of The Future’ award.
Having previously interned at the prestigious Alexander McQueen and other establishments, she soon took edge and set up her own clothing label. There is no doubt about this designer that she has shown determination and her designs are simply enviable, her pieces have claimed their way to fame by appearing in ‘Vogue’ ‘ELLE’ and other well loved publications.
So what is in store for Lulu Liu and her designs? For AW’13 she has composed a collection focusing on the continuing romantic design, floral print and clean cut lines within her work, whilst her SS’14 collection ‘Yarrow Wando’ has created a worldwide aura of appeal. The collection itself is simple yet elegantly designed, with an array of blush pinks, bright peachy oranges, ruffles and neat folds which is definitely enchanting to say the least.
