It’s never too early to prepare for Pride and the latest sneaker collaboration between END. and Filling Pieces has us drooling. A retro-feel, leather rainbow oscillates on the shoes’ sidewall, brought into the 21st century via inspiration from heat map technology. Almost with a nod to the 1939 cult classic film, The Wizard of Oz, one iteration is in a toned down greyscale and the other is a blast of technicolour.
The all-leather, Cleo low-tops, crafted by the seven-year-old Amsterdam-based premium shoe company, Filling Pieces, take a cue from founder and designer Guillaume Philibert’s architectural roots and his charge of melding attainable streetwear with high-end fashion. The unique, layered leather design serves as a “two-dimensional representation of the distribution of temperature,” resulting in the coveted dual pack.
The sneakers are handmade in Portugal, using Italian leathers and set on honeycomb textured GF rubber sole, specially moulded for comfort and traction. A padded heel and collar and full leather lining are topped off with END. stamped on the tongue and heel.
The shoes are available exclusively from END. from the 3rd of December. Register now to get your hands on a pair. Just click on END. and scroll down for upcoming launches.
