The inaugural Fashion Futures Awards – hosted by Decoded Fashion and the BFC – took place last night in London celebrating, well, the future of fashion.

Fashion and retail’s evolution using tech-based ideas, solutions and tools is inevitable in today’s fast-paced digital world, but those doing it best were rewarded in the 11 categories on the night. A total of 12 awards went to the disruptors, visionaries, and innovators pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in fashion and retail.

IN-STORE EXPERIENCE WINNER: Burberry

IN-STORE EXPERIENCE WINNER: Burberry

The judging panel included experts such as Carloline Rush, CEO of the British Fashion Council, and who only yesterday was named CBE; Dylan Jones, editor of British GQ and chair of London Collections: Men; and Ian Tansley, Mr Porter’s managing director. Scooping the top prizes on the night were brands like Burberry and Farfetch, as well as Henry Holland who will launch his menswear line in a retail first next month. The best menswear award – awarded to the “designer who has inspired the world to think and feel differently about modern Britain” – went to Craig Green, surely giving him a boost going into his LC:M show on 12th June.
