Continuing their partnership with celebrated British photographer, Jonathan Daniel Pryce, and Chris Benns, Hunger Magazine’s fashion editor, Original Penguin launches the Leisure Club collection. Selecting five creative who are leaders in their particular fields, contributing to London’s creative scene, was the starting point for Pryce and Benns to showcase this collection of pieces inspired by archived pieces from the Fifties and Sixties.
The iconic American brand’s latest collection of sharp heritage sportswear is given a raw British twist on its chosen models, the luxury knits, premium trims and blended textures updating classic looks given their place as a uniform right for today.
As the author of 100 Beards and the leading street style photographer, shooting for international magazines as well as his own site – garconjon.com – Pryce captures the men of the Leisure Club as a collective. Bringing together various personalities against a simple backdrop injects a sense of veracity into the campaign, each of the five men with their own stories to tell:
DJ and producer, Pharaoh of TØMB; author of Cell Workout fitness book, Lewis Flanders; London-born Barber, William Hart; British menswear label Percival’s owner and designer, Christopher Gove; and the man customising trainers like no other, Adam Claridge.
The Leisure Club Collection is available now from Original Penguin online and in stores.
