Lee Roach AW15
January 12, 2015
Lee Roach showcased a new-era, monochrome collection at his LC:M AW15 show today, introducing yellows and oranges he brightened up the collection. To keep with a utilitarian trend, he stuck with casual tailoring, that created a sense of fluidity between luxe and loungewear.
Most prominent was his appreciation for introducing metallic’s back into the AW15 season, through matted silk trousers and a matching kimono styled jacket. The oriental theme was present in other areas of the collection, with a single black belt on the waist keeping accessories to a minimum. Long shirtless vests made a contrast against the turtle necks in grey and black that we can expect to see in the AW collections.
With a slight sport luxxe feel, this collection proved that tailoring does not need to be as straight cut as we’ve previously seen. The oriental cut, and the zip detailing makes for an edgy and smart transition into the winter wardrobe, with a monochrome palette and added splashes of citrus colour.
