NEWGEN MEN is one of the, if not the most, important prize in the menswear fashion industry. It gives emerging talent a platform to present their work to the world, the prize gives them funding to put on a show or presentation at London Collections: Men as well as business support which is scaled to the size of their business, the support is available to the designers for up to 5 seasons.

The three new additions to the already stellar lineup was announced by Caroline Rush CBE, Chief Executive of the British Fashion Council on Tuesday night at Shoreditch House, along with the team from Topman including Creative Director, Gordon Richardson.

Joining the NEWGEN MEN collection of designers is Bobby Abley who will be doing a catwalk show, Cottweiler who will be doing a presentation and PIETER who will also be doing a presentation at London Collections: Men in June.

Caroline Rush Commented: “NEWGEN MEN is globally recognised as an identifier of talent and celebrates and industry that is growing rapidly, providing much needed support for the emerging businesses that will one day sit at the helm of the menswear sector. The opportunity to showcase a collection at London Collections Men and the key mentoring support that this initiative offers could not be awed to twelve more deserving designers, each a unique and exciting success story in the making.”

NEWGEN MEN was established in September 2009 and is supported by Topman by building on their already successful MAN initiative with Fashion East.

The full NEWGEN MEN lineup is comprised of: Bobby Abley, Cottweiler, PIETER, Agi & Sam, Alex Mullins, Astrid Andersen, CMMN SWDN, Craig Green, Diego Vanassibara, Kit Neale, Nasir Mazhar and Vidur.

London Collections: Men will take place from 12th – 15th June.
