Going to a barbers for your haircut is becoming more and more popular for men because of all the new, trendy barber shops dotted across London, Ruffians being the latest offering in London’s west end. Opening their first barbers in Edinburgh in 2012 where they were able to perfect their service before opening the larger flag ship store in London’s Covent Garden.
Originally an Australian supermarket, Ruffians interior design is well fitting with the building and area, lots of original flooring and brick work on show, accompanied by fireplaces, leather arm chairs and exposed filament light bulbs, its a venue that makes you feel right at home as soon as you step through the door.
After you’ve been warmly welcomed and have your drink firmly in hand, you are then lead to either the beard maintenance room, or the main hair cut room. The haircut starts with a very unusual hair wash, face first into the sink, and finishes with having your hair hoovered, both weird but both exceedingly brilliant.
Once your cut is finished they will style your hair for you with the use of their own specially developed hair products, which smell incredible and are available to buy in store.
When you go to Ruffians, you get exactly what you came in for and more, an exceptional hair cut from one of their immaculately presented barbers, and all the quirky extras.
Haircuts priced at £45, Ruffians is open now on 27 Maiden Lane, Covent Garden.
